The heart of the Marais in an apartment that has everything!
I have never stayed in an apartment where there has been absolutely everything provided that you could ever need for your stay. 27 rue Charlot has to be the best equipped apartment ever. I think even better than my home. Decor superb, linen and towels beautiful (Ralph Lauren!) even an open invitation to "help yourself" to the drinks tray!! In the heart of the Marais. Hidden behind a huge closed wooden door on the street, up a well worn staircase, through the door et voila a beautiful pied a terre for your stay in Paris.

Having seen a segment on Apartments Actually on our local TV I made contact with Sarah when our family decided to spend a week in Paris in October this year. From the beginning of our communication I found Sarah to be extremely helpful and very patient with all the various questions posed to her over a period of 6 months.
With 6 adults in our party we settled on a 3-bedroom apartment in Opera which has the most magnificent view of Sacre Coeur from our balcony. The location in the Pigalle was central to most parts of Paris with lots of shopping nearby to suit all our needs.
Having been informed that Parisienne apartments are small we were pleasantly surprised when we stepped through the front door to discover a large, fully self-contained unit which is beautifully furnished throughout. Not only did the apartment have 3 bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms but a well stocked kitchen and laundry as well as a large dining room and separate sitting room. Everything you could need was available – from washing detergent to condiments. We felt that we were living in our own home which is a vast improvement to hotel living. A wonderful airy apartment within a quiet block and, importantly, a lift to accommodate all our luggage. Security to the apartment was also a feature which attracted us.
I cannot compliment or recommend Sarah and Apartments Actually too much as they made our family holiday one that we shall never forget.

We stayed at this charming apartment in the Marais for our honeymoon recently. It was a comfortable,stylish and very Parisian abode and every bit was we had hoped for. Thank you to Sarah and the Apartments Actually team for all of their help with process of organising, through to the follow-up. Not only have we since recommended this place, we will definitely be staying at 20 Rue Malher (or one of your apartments) next time we are in this beautiful city.

Meg and I would like to thank you for choosing the apartment at Blancs-Manteaux in the fabulous area of Marais for our stay in Paris recently.
We enjoyed every moment. The apartment was great, comfortable and spacious and in a prime location to restaurants, cafes, boutiques, galleries etc.
During our correspondence with Sarah to make our booking, we found Sarah to be most informative and friendly, promptly answering any questions we had in such a honest and friendly manner that it gave us a very comfortable feeling.
Her attention to detail was something that gave us a lot of assurance knowing that we were dealing with a very special person who knew Paris and the wants of Travellers.
Thank you Sarah for everything you did to make our holiday in Paris a very special and memorial one, we could not have chosen a better person to assist us. We no doubt will be using your apartments once again when next we visit Paris.

This charming apartment made our trip. Light-fllled, spacious, lovely decor, super modern bathroom/kitchen fixtures, great mattresses -- all the comforts of home, plus a thorough info packet for all our needs. We had a ball cooking, listening to music, and relaxing. Outside, close to metro/bus, great local cafes and bars, heart of Marais. And it was a pleasure arranging all with friendly owners. Merci!

Just a short note to say how much we loved the Blancs-Manteux apartment. The location was brilliant, apartment perfect and it was lovely dealing with your team and the recommended transport. It was also great dealing with yourself, correspondence was prompt and efficient.
Just wish we had longer- it would have been ideal to just ‘hang’ around Marais alone.

Dear Sarah,
I just wanted to say thank you for renting us the Malher apartment. What a wonderful position! We really enjoyed the nearby restaurants and our time in Paris. Andy's son, Marc, picked me up and dropped me back at the airport. He was delightful and couldn't be more helpful. He even gave me a bottle of wine and I have asked for his postal address so I can send him a bottle or two of Aussie wine as I was unable to find any in France.
Hopefully one day we will meet.

I recently booked an incredible apartment with the assistance of Sarah Pank. Although I had never met her, our correspondence was as if we were friends. Her responses were prompt and informative. June 23rd 2010. This is where and how I would live if Paris was my home...
I have been to Paris a number of times and this trip was the best trip. The apartment is conveniently located near shopping, transportation, restaurants and open air markets. The kitchen in the apartment is a cook's dream - fully stocked with top of the line appliances. If you don't feel like cooking, there are a number of stores and market stalls that will provide foodstuffs that will make a wonderful meal (try the chicken and potatoes at the rotisserie store on the corner of rue Charlot and rue Bretagne) to take back to the apartment.

Our accommodation was really what made our stay unforgettable. We were lucky enough to discover Apartments Actually, a boutique company run by two Australian friends living in Paris who rent out a small selection of beautiful apartments. They gave us all sorts of 'local' info about favourite haunts, restaurants, markets etc, which really made our trip. Our apartment offered a great Parisian experience - it was charming, spacious, and in a perfect location - everything that most hotel rooms are lacking! As seen on: "Real Weddings" website.

The apartment was great - everything about it. I'd love one just like it! I can hardly wait to return. Jennifer met us and showed us around; the notebook of instructions and orientation to the neighborhood was extremely helpful. We stayed at another apartment two years ago, and as nice as that one was, this apartment was even more comfortable and extremely quiet. Our family of four (two adults and two kids) had ample space. The neighborhood offers plenty of shopping opportunities in small boutiques, and Bon Marche and other big-name stores are very close.

This beautiful, warm and stylish apartment in a great Paris neighborhood made my Paris stay so comfortable and luxurious! I lounged, went out, came back---just like home, yet with Paris at my fingertips. I have been to Paris a number of times and have stayed in hotels and apartments. Nothing compares to this truly liveable home on Rue Charlot. It has all one could desire and even more! My friend and I did not want to leave this beautiful place in the heart of the best part of the Marais.

We so enjoyed this charming apt. It was light-filled, comfortable and close to fresh-food markets, the metro and the main tourist spots. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Also a nice collection of books on Paris and France. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in Paris. The apartment was central to everything, and the baby bed was exactly what we needed.The location was perfect for us, with most things in walking distance. Lots of great cafes, restaurants,grocery stores etc. We were very comfortable, and the beds were great.
My husband and I slept in the front room, which heard a little noise from the side-street, from people coming home from the bars, but it didn't bother us at all. Our nanny and the baby slept like logs, as their rooms were very quiet. We heard no noise from the neighbours etc. We had everything we needed, and Barbara had told us to contact her if we needed anything else. Andy's co-worker picked us up from the airport, and another one of them dropped us back on the Monday. Fantastic place to stay! Thank you.

Your charming and comfortable apartment was the perfect place to relax after sightseeing in Paris. It is located in a lovely, safe neighborhood within steps of fascinating shops, fresh food markets and the Metro. We experienced Paris living as if we were Parisians! The owners thoughtfully offer all the comforts of home - clean, cozy beds; a well stocked kitchen; books, DVD's, internet and phone; and many more amenities than we expected.
